Lightest Double Stroller
When you're searching for a light double-stroller that folds, the dimensions and weight are key factors to consider. Selecting a stroller that is simple to use and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Created for families who are constantly on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as a multi-position reclining seats can will accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds. The tray for parents and children, large storage basket, and a three-tiered canopy that has a windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our quality tests because it has a flimsy seat, made of hard plastic, and a design which feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This is a bad option for those seeking the cheapest option.
It's not the most light stroller but it comes with enough features to be worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to navigate it on flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle is a drawback. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push it with your legs hanging in the air and it's also not helping that it's not cushioned.
During our testing during our testing, we found the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a bit more complicated to close, however. You need to slide a slider, and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids at the same time.
The Cloud has a small, but deep storage basket that will accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. The basket is narrow and you may have to put something in it to reach the back. The Cloud includes an adult and child tray with two cup holders each, but both are too narrow to comfortably hold larger cups or bottles.
Kolcraft is an established family business that has been operating since 1946. They started by making diapers and crib pads, but now they manufacture several baby products, such as highchairs and infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist design that's ideal for travel. It's super light at just 18 pounds (lighter than many single strollers!) and folds flat for easy transport and storage. It also has independently reclining seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. Plus, it has one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also great to maneuver over bumps and uneven surfaces. However, this stroller doesn't accept car seats and therefore your children must be six months old and have solid neck control in order to ride in the front seat. The stroller has a three-panel sun canopy and each seat comes with its own cupholder and snack tray.
Another incredibly lightweight side-by-side stroller is Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's tinier and thinner (26.5 inches wide!) and has a ton of luxe details that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily, very maneuverable, and fits easily in the overhead compartments and the trunks of airplanes.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has some key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It comes with a convenient carrying strap and can accommodate kids weighing up to 44 pounds in one seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
If you're looking for a stroller that is lightweight but also loaded with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has a lot of storage space, including child and parent cupholders, a child's sippy-cup pouch and a parent's storage pouch and more. This stroller can also fit the car seat of your child and has an easy-to-engage brake that flips. This stroller is designed to expand as your child grows. It can be converted from a baby stroller into an adult stroller by attaching the car-seat adapters (sold separately) and it's suitable for children aged 6 months and older.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking features, so it might not be the best option for rocky or hilly terrain. It's still a good choice for most families, as it is easy to maneuver on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This is one of the most compact and lightweight double strollers with full-size features. Unlike many other side-by-side strollers this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that's a great option for napping. Its recline feature is simple to use, however it doesn't really go flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging in reclined mode. It also has a huge canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out sun than other strollers in our evaluation of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to be able to navigate through door frames. This was a major issue with other models we tried. It folds quickly, and its handlebars are close to the ground, making it easy transportation. The only issue is its limited storage space. When it's full of kids' stuff it can feel squeezed.
